Located in the southern Minato-ku area of Nagoya City, "Bay-City Shinagawa" is a project implemented in a Nagoya district with many family residents and a rising population. This facility is the largest shopping center in the Chubu region with parking space for 3,000 vehicles, 120 stores and a cinema complex housing 12 cinemas. Based on a "Wind" motif, the main constituent elements of the zones are curves, and each floor enjoys a different shaped "fukinuke" style space. In addition, this project made efficient use of IT and collaboration with American architectural offices to further enhance the appeal of the shopping center.
