This is a manufacturing plant for large-scale submarine transmission cables. A functional building for housing new model production equipment and a bridge-style stand for sending out the produced cables have been newly constructed in the existing spacious factory grounds. This construction project posed a high degree of difficulty as the construction of the building and the manufacture, delivery, assembly, and adjustment of the production equipment took place simultaneously. The successful completion was achieved through continuous and detailed coordination among the business operator, contractors, equipment manufacturing company, delivery company, and the designer, who came together for the project.
