With the objective of further enhancing the educational research facilities of this university, this center integrates the two functions of a library and a computer education center. As a new place of social interaction within the campus, the Computer Education Center on the first floor and the Library, located on the second and third floors, closely interconnect to create a new communication environment centering on the Media Lounge.
The Computer Education Center has an enhanced information environment featuring open-plan multimedia lecture rooms, while the library is characterized by a long-span design with 13.5m between columns, adopted to provide the flexibility that will be required of future university libraries.
