The new town hall, surrounding by an abundance of nature, maintains a tranquil presence in beautiful scenery, and as a new symbol of a place and town that communes with nature, the design is conceived around the image of a town looking to the future.
Even if the usage of the building changes (1st floor office spaces with few columns, flat-floor conference chamber, etc.), it has been designed to accommodate a variety of different usage formats. Energy conservation has also been taken in to account.
The seismic isolation structure uses an innovative combination of intermediate seismic isolation and base seismic isolation, and with emergency facilities in place, it is designed to function as the disaster preparedness center for the town.
