After some re-consideration of the meaning of gathering in one place to conduct training, the aim for this project was to create a "place of profound study, interaction and sharing". Specifically, in order to allow trainees to meet and exchange first-hand information and know-how, an open-space inner garden mechanism was devised to make lines of sight intersect and promote interaction. An impressive, changing space has been created here by implementing a landscape lighting plan that allows a feel for seasonal and daily changes, which in turn allows trainees to share a fresh feel on every visit.
In addition, with an emphasis on association with the outside environment, louvers have been fitted in the balconies which block the views to the roads but allow the trees to be seen, and a soft expression has been incorporated into the exterior to avoid an overly enclosed feel.
