This facility provides proactive support for venture activities that seek efficient ways to translate research results into practical applications.
In addition to a multitude of research and testing rooms, the main wing, the Research Incubation Wing, houses the Entrance Hall Gallery which provides a space for the announcement of research results and interaction with other research facilities. To provide flexible support for future expansion and renovation, balconies with floor sleeves have been installed along the periphery of a standard "H" shaped floor plate. Looking ahead, the concept for this facility, situated in the South Area of the Wako RIKEN Headquarters in which a variety of projects will be implemented, is that of dual functionality, incorporating the role of an entrance gate for research cooperation.
