Shinagawa Season Terrace is an office building which boasts one of the largest leasable floor areas in Japan with approximately 4,970 m2 per floor.
Productivity is increased with a fully equipped work space with high flexibility. Each floor can be divided into 10 sections and has an interior ceiling height of 2,900 mm as well as a utility balcony in which an air-cooled packaged air conditioner can be installed in response to the needs of the tenants.
In addition, higher safety is ensured with the implementation of a seismic isolation structure which demonstrates better quake-absorbing effect against long-period earthquake motions, in comparison to the normal earthquake-resistant structure.
Furthermore, a highly reliable high-voltage (66 kV) loop power reception system is implemented along with an emergency power generator, equipped with fuel for a 72 hour period in case of a long-lasting power outage, to provide a solution to the establishment of a BCP, on which corporations are placing increasing significance, especially after the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Shinagawa Season Terrace not only plays a role in the ecological infrastructures of the 'smart era,' but also aims to develop an advanced office building that is suitable for a new base of international business and achieves both environmental performance and BCP to meet the needs of the times.
