The Tanushimaru Town Cultural-Arts Complex "Soyokaze Hall" is a complex facility that has three main functions as a lifelong learning center that generates inter-user cultural exchange, a multi-purpose auditorium seating 498, and a library with reading rooms for the general public and for children.
In order to create a distinctive cultural complex befitting Tanushimaru, a town with a rich natural environment which is known as the "Town of Trees", numerous plants and trees were planted on the site and three gardens, "The Learning Garden", "The Activity Garden" and "The Information Garden" were created, one for each of the three zones. For the interior, coated wood-based materials and other natural materials were used to establish the image of a facility in the woods. The exterior also achieves a balance with the Minou mountain range that can be seen from the facility.
