With a focus on Asia, this building was designed to serve as a focal point for international exchange between the world and western Japan. The sea served as the motif for the design of this multipurpose complex facility which consists of three main buildings; an international trade building, an arena, and the Kaikyo Yume Tower. As well as the prerequisite functions of an intelligent building, the building also incorporates a wide range of environmental protection technologies, making this center a landmark of Yamaguchi not only in terms of design and functionality, but also in terms of its environmentally friendly characteristics.
