A public hot-spring bathing facility in a hot springs region facing the Sea of Japan.
This facility boasts two vast hot spring plunge baths, a multi-purpose bathing area, and two outdoor hot spring baths that allow users to fully savor the natural beauty of the location, as well as an exhibition hall and training rooms open to local residents.
The facade of the facility consists of a row of wooden columns interspersed with shoji light-screens that also serve as load bearing walls, to create a warm structure that any visitor to this quiet townscape would feel welcome in.
In addition, the warmth of the exterior is matched by the warm atmosphere of the interior, which is generated by the wood and diatomaceous earth finish.
