This is the headquarters building of the AM radio station Nippon Cultural Broadcasting Inc. With an event plaza equipped with a satellite studio, a pedestrian deck allowing access to the railway station, a connecting passage allowing access to the subway station, and information presentation wall spaces, etc, many areas have been set up to serve as "contact points" between the content of the Nippon Cultural Broadcasting Inc. and the general public to create an attractive broadcasting station open to the public.
The exterior design integrates the antenna tower to express the "identity" of the broadcasting station. Although the studio has been fitted with high performance sound insulation and electromagnetic shielding, it retains an open feel and a good view of Tokyo Bay. In addition, in order to enable continuous broadcasting, the building is equipped with a variety of measures to avoid disruptions such as emergency power generators, uninterruptible power supply systems, 2 power supply routes, etc.
