With enhanced reliability and comfort, this building anticipates the style of next generation communications businesses and is the headquarters of FUJISOFT, a leading IT company.
This building was designed as the site to mark the return of FUJISOFT to its place of origin and also to stand as the southern landmark for the Minato Mirai 21 District which is being developed as an international city area where information, people and culture come together. Features of this building include a 4-story gallery atrium , large column-less integrated office spaces that promote communication, airflow windows that take full advantage of the view of Mt. Fuji (clear glass on the outer side, horizontal blinds + reinforced glass on the inner side), electrical capacity (70VA/ m2) and glare-less lighting to support software development, floor load 600kg/m2 compatible flooring to accommodate data-center operations, facility monitoring and control with BACnet as the BAS (Building Administration System), and rooftop solar power generation, etc.
Along with the innovative exterior design, the interior design for each floor outlines stories related to Yokohama landmarks and history based on ideas put forward by the in-house working group.
