The Tower N Building represents the second phase construction of the twin-towers plan for the Fukagawa Gatharia urban development. It was designed to combine with the Tower S Building completed in 2003 to complete the flagship 100m tall super high-rise twin-towers of the development. In order to secure larger and better shaped office spaces than the Tower S Building, the Tower N Building design incorporates a deliberate 1.1 degree shift in axis-line from the Tower S Building to clear height regulations. As a tenant building, the design of the offices concentrates on creating practical and convenient workspaces that can readily accommodate modifications or renovation. In addition, aseismatic elements carefully incorporated into the frame complement damping devices to achieve a structure that will minimize adverse effects on business activities even under the worst foreseeable earthquake conditions.
