Kinunokeikoku Hekiryu is a hot-spring hotel with a great view that stands by the Kinugawa River. It is one of three corporate recreation facilities that were reopened at the same time after renovations as hotels/inns that also accommodate the general public. (⇒ Please refer to Goura Kazenone and Kazekodachi-no-kawabe Shimeikan for details.)

With the concept of Japanese modern, a contemporary ambiance has been added while making the best use of the original Japanese flavors. The renovation created guest rooms that are both modern and traditional in which the guests enter without their shoes and, once inside, find both beds and tatami mats which highlight the Japanese quality. In terms of the environmental measures, an effort was made to reduce material removal during the renovation. For instance, re-stained and reupholstered chairs are set up on the veranda with an additional ottoman to create a new image with the reminiscence of the former building.
