Goura Kazenone is a hotel/inn with a free-flowing milky white hot spring. It is one of three corporate recreation facilities that were reopened at the same time after renovations as hotels/inns that also accommodate the general public. (⇒ Please refer to Kinunokeikoku Hekiryu and Kazekodachi-no-kawabe Shimeikan for details.)

"Hakone yosegi-zaiku (parquetry)," the traditional handicrafts of Gora, Hakone, is incorporated in the furniture and interior decorations as a motif. A chic and relaxed atmosphere has been generated with a choice of bordeaux as a color theme. The guest rooms are set up in a modern western style. In the restaurant, large lights are used to complement the existing high ceiling as well as the 3D panels inspired by the parquetry. In consideration to the environment, the design makeover was attempted without demolition of the building; for example, by keeping the existing niches (recessed shelves) and inlaying them with parquetry-inspired lattices.
