Next Site Asakusa Building is a tenant office building planned in a site facing Asakusa-dori, near Sensoji Kaminarimon Gate. Medium-size apartments and office buildings line along Asakusa-dori while many architectural landscapes with traces of Edo culture still exist in the area surrounding Sensoji. In consideration of low-rise houses and an elementary school situated to the north and west of the plot, the building was designed to be an environmentally friendly office space that fits in with the surrounding environment and contributes to the community.
One tenant occupies one floor, and the office space on each floor is column-less. Although communal areas such as an EV hall and the bathrooms are kept compact, enhanced tenant services are offered, such as making the rooftop garden and Wi-Fi available. The building boasts environmental performance qualified for class S (excellent) of CASBEE ranking by having a facade opening up to Asakusa-dori, side walls with narrower openings in consideration of the neighborhood to the northwest, solar panels installed on the roof top and the glass curtain wall, green walls adopting a planter method, and LED lighting throughout the building.
