The design of this building secures maximum volume by making full use of the relaxation of sky-factor setback restrictions.
The building maintains a compact core to realize highly flexible column-less office spaces of approximately 1,000m2 per floor.
The communal areas are finished in monochrome hues while natural light is drawn in at every opportunity to secure bright, comfortable, calming and also energy saving space.
The exterior design takes the surrounding cityscape into consideration while interpreting the relationships of the local environment to determine the sizes and positions of building apertures and control light and line-of-sight. The north side of the building is designed to draw in uniform levels of natural light and create the appearance of a spacious glass box as the building's facade in relation to the main road. The window design on the west side of the building adopts narrower horizontal ribbon windows in consideration of the surrounding buildings and the thermal load from the post meridian sun.
