This is an ophthalmology clinic located in a residential area in Oita City. The building height has been kept low in consideration of the surrounding residential neighborhood. Weather and heat resistant and easily maintainable white crystalized glass is used for the building exterior. The texture of the crystallized glass gives a stately look while the sectioning of the overall facade composition and the stylish entrance eaves give the entire building a delicate impression. The waiting room on the first floor has achieved a hotel-like graceful atmosphere with a double-height ceiling and a curving staircase that looks like a work of art. This spacious area provides a peaceful mood to the patients with the feel of the transient light.
