This expansion project was realized after approval was granted to relax the floor area ratio following completion of the initial phase. In order to further enhance the real estate value, the layout and building plans aim to form a unity in the whole premises with a courtyard as the focal point.
Placement of an entrance hall at the end of the pre-existing connecting corridor, the 5-layer atrium and the main core have improved the accessibility of the entire building cluster. Due to the site conditions, the office area is set up in a V-shape with a little depth to improve workplace efficiency. The north side, facing the courtyard, incorporates a full-height glass curtain wall along with the balconies positioned in a rhythmical manner to make full use of the courtyard view. The south face combines high side lights, light shelves, natural ventilation windows, and covered columns, which serve as an afternoon sun control, to achieve both visual privacy from the adjacent properties and an improvement in passive environmental performance.
In order to accommodate the increasing automobile demands, a driveway and a mechanical parking facility have been established underground.
