The Martial Arts Center has been established for Kendo, Judo, and Karate. The themes of the building were to achieve a harmonic landscape with the existing residential area and an embodiment of the University's traditions and the spirit of martial arts.
The voluminous exterior appearance resulting from the rational layering of each function is lightened with the pitched roof and the setback, due to the regulation.
The exterior design achieves both division and unity with the 3-layered facade and the lines created by the bevel siding with a ventilation function. The texture and subtle shade variation of stone make the architecture "harmonious" with the environment yet "unique" in character
