This complex building housing businesses, offices, and multi-purpose auditorium is located in the Tenjin area, the commercial district in Fukuoka.
The themes were set to contribute to the regional vitalization by inviting a flow of people and activities not just to an individual building but to the area, whose city block is composed of NTT facilities, to create a new center for commerce and business and to establish a quality townscape which connects into the natural environment of Kego Park, which dominates the foreground.
The setback section from the road, reserved due to the district planning, was improved along with the sidewalk. Multiple elements are composed into the 3-layerd structure of a podium, intermediate layer, and top layer to achieve functionality and harmony with the surrounding environment. In addition, environmental technologies such as three-dimensional greening, Low-E glass, and LED lighting are actively incorporated. (Design collaboration with: NTT Urban Development Corporation)
